This time, desiring to get a more investigating workshop between Japan and Thailand, we have applied for a grassroots grant-in-aid provided by Project In Commemoration of 120 Years of Amity Between Japan and Thailand. We regret to say that our workshop was not attended by so many people since all the universities in Thailand were closed for spring vacation, and we could not call for the participation of the students. But we believe that this workshop proved to be the first step to the future development of cooperation between the two countries.

Especially, we were very much impressed by Prof. Reck who exerted all his private efforts for the rehabilitation of the disabled. But in view of such a gap even at the stage of rehabilitation, it is expected that it will never be easy to wrestle with the difficult task of achieving sports for the disabled. For our part, we are going to make our activity in Japan more substantial and, through every contact or exchange of experiences with overseas countries, we are going to tackle with the task of sports for the disabled, little by little. This is the next step we are now determined to take.
